School Challenge Competition Update
On Tuesday 6th February, one of the CCGS School Challenge senior teams (left to right: Sam, Alfie, Tom and Christian) took on the Haberdashers' Boys' School in the 2nd round of this year's School Challenge competition. And I am very pleased to let you know that CCGS was victorious!
Once again, Christian's lightning buzzing skills gave the team many opportunities to accumulate points thanks to their all round excellent general knowledge. European countries, flags, politics, pop music, history, sport, you name it: they know about it!
And on Wednesday 7th February, another excellent team (Joseph, Stanley, Oscar and Ryan) competed in the 1st round of the Plate Competition. They played against a team from the Exeter School and won with flying colours!
I am so proud of what the teams have achieved so far and I very much look forward to seeing them proudly defend the school colours again in the 3rd round of the main competition as well as in the 2nd round of the Plate Competition next term.
