Staff
Mr Potter (DJP) (Subject Leader) – Full-time member of staff who teaches across all Key Stages. DJP joined the school in 2006. Mr Potter’s area of expertise is political development in Britain in the 19th and 20th Centuries as well as international relations in the 1930s.
Miss Barnes (JHB) – Part-time member of staff who teaches across all Key Stages. JHB joined the school in 2007 and her particular area of expertise is the collapse of Tsarist Russia and the rise of Communism.
Miss Greig (KJG) – Part-time member of staff who teaches across all Key Stages. KJG joined the school in 2011. Miss Greig’s area of expertise is Nazi Germany 1933-45.
Mr Wood (DAW) – Part time member of staff who teaches History at Key Stage 3 and is in charge of the school’s A-Level Government and Politics course. DAW joined the school in 2021.
Mr Wilks (MRW) – Full time member of staff who teaches at Key Stage 3 and 4. MRW joined the school in September 2018 after successfully completing his training with us. Mr Wilks’ area of expertise is the Medieval era with a particular penchant for the Angevin Empire.
