“Geography is the study of the earth’s landscapes, peoples, places and environments. It is, quite simply, about the world in which we live."
Geography is taught to students in all Key Stages within the Chatham and Clarendon Grammar School. It is taught to all students in Key Stage 3, it is optional at GCSE and A-Level.
Approximately ¾ of Year 9 students choose geography as a GCSE, in excess of 100 students take the GCSE examinations each year.
It continues to be a popular subject at A-level with many students continuing to study the subject at University.
There are six enthusiastic, subject specialist and experienced teachers in the department with wide range of interests and skills.
