Primary Maths Challenge Regional competition at CCGS 2024

Seventeen primary schools across Thanet each sent a team of four top Year 5 mathematicians to represent them at the UKMT Maths Challenge, organized by Mrs. Shuttle from the CCGS Maths Department. The teams, consisting of enthusiastic problem solvers, collaborated on four diverse challenges: a logic puzzle, group round, shuttle round, and the big maths relay.

It was inspiring to watch these young mathematicians work with such enthusiasm and speed. Many teams celebrated victories in individual rounds, but a special congratulations goes to Cliftonville Primary School for securing the overall victory and winning the Maths Challenge Cup 2024!
