The year 13 computer scientists went to the escape rooms in Broadstairs to pit their wits in an escape room challenge called 'Quartz'.

The students travelled back through time to the abandoned Quartz laboratory,  which had only recently discovered by The Network; the highest order of military intelligence. Rumours described it as an artificially intelligent machine, engineered by a nuclear physicist hellbent on causing world chaos. The team  were ordered to destroy its physical construct and annihilate it from the world, for good.

Finishing in 48.07 seconds, the team accomplished their mission objectives in an ultra quick time!

It was really a great send off to celebrate the end of their A level computer science course. They will all be missed and we wish them every success in their final examinations and for the future.
