CCGS Students Shine in UKMT Maths Team Challenge Regional Final
Four of our talented Year 8 and Year 9 mathematicians recently represented Chatham and Clarendon Grammar School at the regional final of the UKMT Maths Team Challenge 2025. The event, held at Tonbridge Grammar School, saw top-performing teams from across Kent competing in a series of challenging mathematical rounds.
The competition consisted of four demanding rounds: the Group Round, Shuttle Relay, Cross Number, and the Final Relay Round. Each section tested the students’ problem-solving skills, teamwork, and mathematical agility under pressure.
Our team—Kamsavy, Jake, Thaarmithan, and Ethan—demonstrated exceptional skill and collaboration throughout the event. They achieved an impressive 4th place overall, narrowly missing out on a podium finish. Their dedication and enthusiasm were evident in every round, making them outstanding representatives of CCGS mathematics.
We are incredibly proud of their achievement and congratulate them on their outstanding performance. Well done to our fantastic team!
