CCGS IT and Computer Science opportunities for students

A number of visits have been made to CCGS IT and Computer Science students at CCGS.

The BTEC IT students have been visited by a prominent local businessmen Michael Dobson, Head of Business Development for the Superior Healthcare Group and Remi Gruszka (alumni), National Sales Manager for Smart Vision Systems. Both spoke to the group giving an insight into their companies and the utilisation of social media before opening the floor to questions.

In computer science, Kazki Fairman another student from CCGS who is in his final year at Warwick University also gave an interesting talk about what its like in industry and has finished his placement year at HSBC, Canary Wharf, London.

Mrs Wright, Head of Computer Science said ‘We are really pleased again that so much interest and support is offered to our students from local businessmen, and from students who come back. This is a very successful model where success breeds success’.
