Gallery Visits

Experiencing art first hand is essential for our students and we run regular trips to galleries and exhibitions. We believe that it is important for students to see a wide range of approaches to art craft and design and aim to give a broad experience of styles of art relevent to their investigations. 

Recent trips have included The RA Summer Exhibition, the V&A, Tate Modern, Tate Britain, the Natural History Museum and Science Museum and the Barbican.

We benefit hugely by having great art on show for us localy at Turner Contempoary and other galleries and studios in Margate. Within walking distance of the school there are also a number of independant galleries including York Street Gallery and The Wooden Box Gallery, where as well as viewing the art of local artists, our students exhibit their own work to the public.
