CCGS Celebrates British Science Week

16th March 2020

Yr7 spent a fun filled day at Discovery Park on Friday 13th March celebrating British Science Week with the Big Bang Sessions organised by CCCU and STEMHub.
Students from schools all over the South East attended a "How to be a Science Hero" talk given by an Arctic Researcher, they also attended an interactive workshop with topics ranging from "The Diabolical Case of Penelope Treadloaf" to "Crime Lab Fingerprinting" and "Edible Insects - The Food (and Fuel) of the future".
Students then had free-time to try out a range of different stands, all promoting further education and careers in STEM. Our students shone, answers questions and taking part in everything and winning lots of prizes.
