UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

9th July 2020

We were lucky to have 70 of our year 7 and year 8 mathematicians to take part in the Junior Maths challenge, This is a national competition organised by  the UK Mathematics Trust. This year the challenge was set up online for students to work on at home and our mathematicians achieved impressive 6 gold, 14 silver and 20 bronze certificates.  
A special mention must go to Vincent Huang (yr7) and Mac Yang (yr8) for achieving the best score in their year group.

Silver certificates went to

Year 8 Luke Broad, Jake Crudgington, Erin Gardner, Jem Harris, Luke Harrop, Harry Huang, Lizzie Laffey, Alfie Meise, Louca Theodorou- Bunce
Bronze certificates went to

Well done to all students taking part. What a fantastic opportunity to participate in this national competition and we are so pleased that our students did not miss out because of lockdown and made us proud.
