Computer Science Trip to New York, New York

21st February 2016

Current year 11 and 12's were stunned with the sights and sounds of 'the city so nice they named it twice!'

During our stay we visited the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, 9-11 memorial,  the One World Observatory, Top of the Rock and many more famous landmarks. Students also experienced the American Museum of Natural History (Night at the Museum) as well as a programming and digital effects class at the Museum of the Moving Image.

Students proved to be a credit to themselves and to the school. Their behaviour was exemplary and I felt very proud by the way in which they braved temperatures of -17C. To round off the last day, it snowed - something we all wanted to see! A fantastic trip, something we will all never forget!
