Bake Off Competition

18th December 2015

A celebration cake “Bake Off’ took place Wednesday 16th December. Nine students from years 7-9 took part and baked an amazing array of large cakes, baked and decorated in three hours.

To judge the event Jason Freedman from “Curiously Kentish”, based in Minnis Bay and winner of the Kent on Sunday Food and Drink Award 2105, had the difficult task of taste testing and deciding on the winner and runners up.

Finally it was decided that;

first prize was awarded to Louis Sotiri, in year 7.

Second prize to Daisy Crush, in year 7.

Third prize to Amani Horton in year 9.

The other contestants were;

Ross White in year 7, Ebony Stocker and Robyn Tames in year 8 and Shaun Liddle, Lucy Manning and Annika Swansbury in year 9. Well done to everyone that took part. It was a very difficult decision, as all the cakes were baked and presented to a very good 'standard.
