Peer Mentoring Success

14th July 2014

33 of our Year 8 students successfully completed the Thanet Young Ambassadors Programme which culminated in a presentation evening at Quex Park where local MP Laura Sandys and Chief Inspector Mark Pearson presented certificates to these committed students. The training involved a range of skill areas including first aid, leadership and peer mentoring, which will be used to assist in the smooth transition of our new students who will join the school in September.  As part of the course, paid for by the Kent People’s Trust, students attended the Swattenden Activity Centre in Cranbrook as a reward for all their hard work and commitment to the course.
