CCGS Student Could Be the Next Big Future Rowing Star

24th September 2013

Chatham and Clarendon student, Scarlett has become the under 14 Ladies Quad Skulls winner at the South Coast Rowing Championships in Deal last weekend.

She has been competing with the Herne Bay Amateur Rowing Club for the past year, and has shown great determination in her sport, training every weekend through the winter on rowing machines, and twice a week through the summer season on the open water. I know that the club are always looking for new members, so if any of your students are interested in having a go, it would be great if you could direct them to the website: www.hbarc.co.uk.

We wish Scarlett the best of luck in future competitions and hope she will be even more successful.
